Visit the nearby Keta-Avu lagoon Ramsar site with lush mangrove
swamps and salt pan, the richest avi-fauna in the West African
sub-region, with beautiful pleasant beaches.
The
area has some 77 species of waders, terns and three known species
of marine turtles; many species of monkeys and baboons are also
found around the Avu lagoon. This area is also famous for beautiful
seasonal butterflies.

tours can be arranged to Wli, Tsatsadu, Agumatsa Tagbo waterfalls
and limestone caves in the Northern Districts, the monkey villages
of Tafi Atorme; the Gemi-mountains of Amedzofe, Mount Afadzato

These
are among the most beautiful tourist attractions of the Volta
Region, lying just within 100km’s reach of the resort.
Historic sites such as Old German buildings at Ho, Kpando, Nkonya,
Peki, Kete Krachi etc. are of tremendous interest to the tourists.
